B.U.L.S.H.I.T. AWARDS POSTPONED
Well, the gods have spoken.
The situation in much of Baltimore city remains hazardous, and I don’t feel like it’s prudent to have our B.U.L.S.H.I.T AWARDS event tomorrow, so we are postponing it. I know it’s disappointing, but we need to make sure we’re being safe and that those working to clear the streets have the chance to do so.
The new B.U.L.S.H.I.T AWARDS date will be:
Monday, February 1st at 7:00 p.m.
at Emmanuel Episcopal Church
So, what does this mean?
WE ARE RELAXING OUR MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN RULE.
Though we encourage you to be there (PLEASECOME), we understand that the new date may pose problems for the nominees who may have unchangeable plans. So, if you are nominated and win an award but cannot be there, it will be presented in absentia and sent to you.
REFUNDS ARE AVAILABLE, BUT PLEASE CONSIDER!
We understand that money is tight and if you can’t make the new date, you may want a refund. But please consider! The point of this event is a fundraiser for the Actors Need a Living or A.N.A.L. Fund (read more about the fund here). If I have to issue a ton of refunds, that means we won’t have money for the fund this year. We don’t make any money off of this event, after expenses everything goes to A.N.A.L. If you can’t make the new date, please consider making your ticket purchase a donation to the fund. We will note your generosity at the event and on our website. If you really just need to have your ticket refunded, send your request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
I thank you in advance for your patience and flexibility. We are committed to holding this event to honor our community, we just need to be safe and sane while doing so.
